When writing a piece of music, Livio aims to portray/convey a theme or character to the best of his abilities to provide a link from the composer, through the performer, and to the listener. It is believed by Livio that music shares a powerful bond in each stage of its execution as a means to provide a message, whether it is idealistic or recreational.

 

He has been the recipient of ASME young composer award in 2013 and seeks new techniques/nuances in the hope of expanding his musical palette in order to further articulate his themes in each composition.
